At the gravesite of a revered spiritual leader, this visitor’s center offers facilities for both a constant stream of followers and for mass gatherings to celebrate significant holidays, where tens of thousands come together from around the world to celebrate with their departed mentor.  The visitor’s center is thus comprised of two parts:  to meet the daily program, five stone and glass pavilions house guestrooms, offices, a study hall and support services for office staff; to accommodate the larger convocations a huge fabric-roofed assembly hall links the pavilions, with movable fixtures creating more intimate spaces used as a part of the graveside visiting ritual.
